The GP committee at DAUK are shocked to hear that Matt Hancock has never visited a GP surgery to talk to front line staff since the pandemic started. Considering the sheer amount of hard work and dedication primary care has done to undergo a transformation to continue providing safe care, the expectations of a demanding vaccine programme, and the constant negativity directed towards primary care in the media – this is unacceptable, considering how easy it is to arrange a zoom meeting anywhere in the country.
