DAUK demands urgent action over future of GP profession, reports Euro Weekly News

Euro Weekly News has reported that the DAUK is concerned about the exodus of GPs from the NHS. 

“With the NHS expecting record demand this winter the Doctors’ Association UK (DAUK) wrote to former Health Secretary Therese Coffey demanding urgent action.

It continues by saying: “We are writing to you as a group of GPs, deeply concerned over the future of the profession.

“Without urgent government action, our primary care system will suffer irreversible loss as the risk of harm to both patients and doctors increases.”
