Dr Udoye cleared for the second time following DAUK and seven other organisations wrote to the GMC, reports the BMJ

Dr Valentine Udoye, who was cleared of misconduct by a medical practitioners tribunal, but then faced a second tribunal hearing after the General Medical Council (GMC) successfully appealed, has been cleared for a second time, reports the BMJ.

The BMJ article also mentions DAUK’s input in this case: 

“In January the Doctors’ Association UK and seven organisations representing ethnic minority doctors wrote to the GMC about the Udoye case. They asked the regulator “why it seems set on the vindictive pursuit of doctors (especially international medical graduates) who just want to serve in our NHS.”
