Dr Elizabeth Toberty – GP Advisor with the DAUK

Dr Toberty spoke to LBC on 4th January 2021 regarding concerns surrounding the Covid-19 vaccination schedules.

“In 12 weeks time we won’t know what level of immunity those people who have had the Pfizer vaccine have, and also if there are delays to supply then where do we stand?”

“When we’ve consented people we’ve said this is what we’re going to deliver to you. It really undermines doctor-patient relationships.”

“Medico-legally, where do we stand if we don’t deliver the second vaccine and a patient has an adverse outcome? Where does that leave us if what we have been asked to do was not evidence based to start with?”
